WHAT IS SPIRITUAL LIFE?

"To flee from evil thoughts and deeds is the beginning of wisdom and life. Evil blocks love, while denial and false thinking block true wisdom. The greatest priority in spiritual growth is to discover the most dangerous selfish desire in our life, to ask God to remove it, and then to act in cooperation with God to begin a new life with it."- Emmanuel Swedenborg

HOW TO LEARN ABOUT GOD

"The ancients learned much about God and spirituality through nature. It was their Bible, so to speak. However, through the process of time, people began to focus more on the material aspects of nature rather than the spiritual life that is reflected within. People ceased to see the reflection of God in nature and so lost a connection with him. This connection can be reestablished, and the Creator can be seen once again, through all of creation." - Emanuel Swedenborg

CONNECTION WITH THE DIVINE

"We have a connection with the Divine, and our inmost being is such that we can receive the Divine, and not only receive it, but also make it our own by acknowledgment and love, thus by reciprocating. Since we are implanted in the Divine, we can never die."- Emmanuel Swedengorg

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

"To flee from evil thoughts and deeds is the beginning of wisdom and spiritual life. Evil blocks love, while denial and false thinking block true wisdom. The greatest priority in spiritual growth is to discover the most dangerous selfish desire in our life, to ask God to remove it, and then act in cooperation with God to begin a new life without it!" - Apocalypse (Emmanuel Swedenborg)
